I booked Olly for some pictures in Chamonix and spent a morning skiing in Flegere. Simply outstanding pictures capturing the real essence of skiing there and making me look better at skiing than I am.
The pictures he took are stunning and he provided suggestions for some brilliant places to capture the images. He knows the area really well, very easy to work with, top of the range equipment…

Olly does amazing work, very creative and embellishing the moments. So far he has done three projects for me in the mountains; shooting a trail race, the photos for my first book, and trail runners at my Chamonix Mountain Running Festival. Olly photographed our wedding and did a fantastic job! He was fun and relaxed, put everyone at ease, but was also really good at organising everyone into group shots. He had loads of great ideas for photos but didn’t push us into anything that felt too formal or “not us”.
So many of our guests commented on what a nice person he is and that the photos were not “the boring part” of the wedding (like they often are!). We got the finished photos back really quickly and we love them, so many great ones, lots of impromptu candid shots as well as the posed ones, he captured so many moments for us that might have otherwise passed us by – thanks Olly!
Olly is amazing!
My partner told me he was a friend that was going to join us to ski when really my partner proposed to me on the top of the Aiguille du Midi. Turns out Olly was really our photographer but he played the part perfectly. I was stunned and Olly got the most amazing photos of the whole experience; proposal, skiing, wandering through the ice cave, and the hike out.
He even shared a few photos with us in the same day just so we could make an announcement to our family and friends. I’d highly recommend hiring Olly to capture your special day!
