DJI has been making fantastic drones and stabilisers for a few years now and they have just launched the Ronin S gimbal for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. It snowed a lot this weekend, and when I say a lot, I mean a lot. The vis looked pretty poor so as it was cold we decided to stay fairly low and head to St Gervais for the day. It was their opening weekend, so there wasn’t a huge amount of lifts open, but the snow was incredible and it was fairly quiet so we managed to get quite a few decent runs in.

After a walk up to an old abandoned cable car station and a bit of mountain bike photography at Les Contamines I wanted to try and get some mountaineering photos.
Recently I was asked to take photos for Lifeproof for their summer unleashed social media campaign. If you haven’t heard of lifeproof they make awesome waterproof mobile phone cases and have just released a range of tough waterproof Bluetooth speakers.
This camera has just been announced by Sony and looks like it could be pretty awesome. 20fps continuous shooting, 693 point autofocus and in body image stabilisation should make it a fantastic camera for sports photography. The question is do I ditch my current setup and move over to sony?
